Hiking in November

Although it's been cold, we have had some great days for hiking in November. We have made several trips out to the Owyhee's, up to Lucky Peak, and out around the Treasure Valley. The boys are lowly becoming better hikers. They can usually walk 1/2 - 3/4 miles before demanding a ride on our shoulders. We have been using our GPS unit to find geocaches, which are hidden boxes of basically junk hiding in obscure places. Their location can be found via coordinates taken from the Internet which we input in our GPS unit. The boys love searching for them, and can trade one junky toy for another.
We have also had several visitors in November. The Gendlers visited us in early November for a few days while they looked at houses. We are really excited to have them move back to Boise! Then the next week uncle Chad and cousin Audrey visited for a week before Chad headed out to Rhode Island for his Naval duty. My parents came out for two separate one week visits soon after. It was a busy month, but great to see everyone!
